Moon Giver 03:38
I walk a path by night, I don't need my eyes to see. Lily-light and full with child, it made it's promises clear. Law is deeper and misunderstood and the moon knows how to rise. Inspire the birth of summer or a careless look in your eye. Cos I'm finding ways to tread, Gently with no sight. And knowledge settles, Til the moon gives permission to rise. I'll only love when the moon gives, When the moon gives permission to rise. I walk upon the road, it's where I garnered all these scars. In these times of distant wars, I let out my warrior heart. Let freedom come and then love will follow, in the light or in the shade. And if you ask me, I wasn't looking in the direction that you gave. Cos I'm finding ways to tread, Gently with no sight. And knowledge settles, Til the moon gives permission to rise. I'll only love when the moon gives, When the moon gives permission to rise.

Faultlines 05:01
Your ghost that gave you thoughts and food, All that sickness, in hibernation. Oscillate the final blow, we find our bitter ways. You have stopped mid-sentence in, Freshly cut words that burn and tease and pull, And then blow fragrance in again. My foggy breath reasoned the air. In outstretched limbs of despair. Calling out. Hush, to the forest, hail to the old. Not a word to the world, no we utter none. To long for the city to fall, And notice every faultline. I'm not exempt from the fault. Calling out. In muscled governance, and coerced sides. In constitutions of freedoms, We walled out the sunshine. If I can't warm my heart. Then I can't reach yours. Fire come warm my heart. Commune on my wood. Fire come warm, burn into my skin, My hope and break as I begin, Naked to taste the edge.

It comes from the ageing lines, I surrender. And if wisdom had it's hand in mine, there I'd find my treasure. And vagrants on stolen cultures trespass, I am one of those, In the eyes of those who time forgot, another toothless soul. And there are words I spilt in foolish reminiscence. And the holy of my father's art, has since then recommenced. Gentle, footfall, careful where you walk. Makeshift, ritual, for those of mixed blood. It comes from the ageing lines, to death I surrender. Is impermanence the mark of current days, incandescent splendour. And weeds have foraged on the path, my life is filled with those. All the staples we have stuck to hold, and feared comforts undone. Gentle, footfall, careful where you walk. Makeshift, ritual, for those of mixed blood.

Esau 03:49
I am hiding, And no one knows, no one knows. I am hiding and no one knows. And it came to a head, And the mountain of your anger bled, In two, rivers have divide. We spread our wings upon the land, And grasped each widowed husk. I set stones to guard the way I'd come. Oooh ye-a Esau Your not my brother anymore. I stole lambs that were spotted, You stole more from me, And spared no blood in this country. Tribal kings and warriors, To take pride in markings, Now apart we stand, apart we stand. Oooh ye-a Esau Your not my brother anymore. I am hiding, And no one knows, no one knows.

Syria 05:05
Breaking lines, of the incarnate few. That march all over, the soil of our lost. Desert sands, whip our garmets. Sacrifice, the pursuit of- Syria Syria Bodies strike their hearts and the sky, In search of elusive clouds. Bodies strike their hearts and the sky, In search of elusive clouds. Ancient symbols, in notches on our bones. Consuming evil, in hearts that can't let go. With teeth and nail, we shed our closest kin. To no avail, when war still reigns within. Syria Syria Bodies strike their hearts and the sky, In search of elusive clouds. Bodies strike their hearts and the sky, In search of elusive clouds.

a Brisbane based musician and arts worker, exposes the haunting insides of much thought and observation regarding war and love.

She shares the sacred space of all that is bereft and lost, and makes subtle comments on our cultural tendencies, offering a divergent way of viewing the ideas we may have on love and war, family, loss and living in times alienated from our earth and our ancestral culture.
